MacDonald Advisory Consultants (MAC) was founded on the principles of integrity, excellence, and collaboration, with a mission to help organizations navigate complex challenges, seize opportunities, and drive sustainable growth. Every organization is unique, so we tailor our work to each client's specific needs, drawing on senior experience across nonprofit, association, real estate, and corporate environments. 

 

The practice is led by Dennis MacDonald, Founder and Principal Consultant. Dennis's career began in real estate, where he rose to CEO of Greater Tampa Realtors. There he spearheaded transformative initiatives driving 140% membership growth, managing $14M+ budgets, and enhancing operational efficiency with a focus on inclusive leadership. His work earned recognition as a Tampa Bay Business Journal “40 Under 40” honoree (2020) and induction into the Realtors Political Action Hall of Fame (2019). He holds SHRM-SCP and CAE certifications and credentials in DEI and post-crisis leadership. 

 

He is joined by Sakina Mayan, SHRM-CP, Principal Consultant for Operations & People. Sakina works at the intersection of people, operations, and business strategy,  building teams, improving processes, and creating the infrastructure organizations need to scale. Her experience spans manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and aviation, with particular strength in organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and leadership infrastructure in growth and startup environments. 

 

Together, MAC pairs executive strategic leadership with deep operational and people expertise letting us support clients from strategic planning all the way through implementation. We take on a selective number of engagements, and our success is measured by the growth of the organizations we serve.
